Mixed Use
This class “A” building being proposed is to be a conservative design to ensure it is compatible with the surrounding historic buildings. It will have seven full floors with a full ground floor that will house mechanical equipment, electrical equipment and light storage areas in front, adjacent to the main street. The rear half of the ground floor is to be office that will have windows made possible by the lower elevation in the rear.
The lobby will have a two-story glass front that will create a spectacular storefront that is at sidewalk level for easy ADA access into the building. The lobby will access two high-speed elevators that will service all floors including the ground floor. The lobby will have marble and/or granite finishes to accent this class “A” facility.
The central core of each floor will have an area around the elevators for entrances with ADA toilets and janitor’s closet behind. The elevator will be equipped with card key accessibility to each floor for security.
The building will have an addressable fire alarm system and will be fully sprinklered, by code.
The foundations, structure, roof, plumbing, electric, systems and interior fit-out are all Oliver Construction design-build solutions. This multi-story, multi-use building is helping to revitalize a prominent area of an Enterprise Zone surrounding the county seat courthouse.
